Story Consulting Services

Since early 2014, I've started to finally realize my lifelong dream of working in the independent feature documentary field by working as a story consultant. Filmmakers hire me to give input and/or fix - disassemble and re-assemble - their stories that aren't working.

The toughest thing to do in documentary filmmaking is to find a structure - one that's as compelling a narrative as the best dramatic film, but that is also true to the facts, to the content, and to the vision of the filmmaker. Finding this structure and narrative drive is my specialty. I only take on one project at a time as this work is so all-consuming, but Soft Scripted, Inc. is the entity through which my services are hired out. Feel free to contact us for more information.
